In this article, we first introduce an iterative method based on the hybrid viscosity approximation method and the hybrid steepest-descent method for finding a fixed point of a Lipschitz pseudocontractive mapping (assuming existence) and prove that our proposed scheme has strong convergence under some mild conditions imposed on algorithm parameters in real Hilbert spaces. Next, we introduce a new iterative method for a solution of a nonlinear integral equation of Hammerstein type and obtain strong convergence in real Hilbert spaces. Our results presented in this article generalize and extend the corresponding results on Lipschitz pseudocontractive mapping and nonlinear integral equation of Hammerstein type reported by some authors recently. We compare our iterative scheme numerically with other iterative scheme for solving non-linear integral equation of Hammerstein type to verify the efficiency and implementation of our new method. 相似文献

Austere submanifolds and arid submanifolds constitute respectively two different classes of minimal submanifolds in finite dimensional Riemannian manifolds. In this paper we introduce the concepts of these submanifolds into a class of proper Fredholm (PF) submanifolds in Hilbert spaces, discuss their relation and show examples of infinite dimensional austere PF submanifolds and arid PF submanifolds in Hilbert spaces. This paper utilizes the Picard method and Newton's method to linearize the stationary incompressible Navier–Stokes equations and then uses an LL* approach, which is a least-squares finite element method applied to the dual problem of the corresponding linear system. The LL* approach provides an L2-approximation to a given problem, which is not typically available with conventional finite element methods for nonlinear second-order partial differential equations. We first show that the proposed combination of linearization scheme and LL* approach provides an L2-approximation to the stationary incompressible Navier–Stokes equations. The validity of L2-approximation is proven through the analysis of the weak problem corresponding to the linearized Navier–Stokes equations. The purpose of this paper is to present an accelerated hybrid viscosity and steepest-descent method for solving proximal split feasibility problems (if solutions exist) in real Hilbert spaces. We obtain strong convergence of the sequence generated by our scheme under some suitable conditions on the parameters. In all our results in this work, our iterative schemes are proposed with a way of selecting the step sizes such that their implementation does not need any prior information about the bounded linear operator norm. The study of the h-vectors of graded Gorenstein algebras is an important topic in combinatorial commutative algebra, which despite the large amount of literature produced during the last several years, still presents many interesting open questions. In this note, we commence a study of those unimodal Gorenstein h-vectors that do not satisfy the Stanley–Iarrobino property. Our main results, which are characteristic free, show that such h-vectors exist: 1) In socle degree e if and only if e≥6; and 2) in every codimension five or greater. The main case that remains open is that of codimension four, where no Gorenstein h-vector is known without the Stanley–Iarrobino property. We conclude by proposing the following very general conjecture: The existence of any arbitrary level h-vector is independent of the characteristic of the base field. 相似文献
